The Strategic Materials Advisory Council accused the US Department of Defense of completely disregarding concerns over the lack of a diversified supply base for critical rare earths and is endangering parts of the US industrial base in the process.
The US non-profit organisation made up of former US industry and government leaders was highly critical of a recent DoD report, which claimed that conditions in the rare earths market had significantly improved for consumers.
